In Navjot's work political realism is re-defined to locate her own subjectivity within the warp and woof of the human condition. In doing so she makes many crossovers to the woman's terrain, the confined and often suppressed feminine situations. The technical virtuosity she brings to her work has of late been extended to installations and site-specific creations.
