RAMA VAIDYANATHAN

C-16 Institutional Area, Behind Qutab Hotel, New Delhi, India

Trained under accomplished Gurus like the veteran Yamini Krishnamurthy and Saroja Vaidyanathan (Founder President of Ganesa Natyalaya), Rama has been noted as one of India's top exponents of Bharata Natyam.

She is the Director of Ganesa Natyalaya where she conducts master classes. Rama has been performing regularly for the past 20 years in India and abroad.

For Rama, dance is more than just a profession. It is a means to expressing the inner quest for self-realization. While she aspires to use her dance as a medium to come closer to the supreme truth, she also intends to address several contemporary issues that ail mankind. Rama proposes to take up several cross cultural issues and propagate the same using the divine dance form of Bharatanatyam in her attempt to perpetuate world peace.
