Srinidhi has won several distinctions and awards. She has been the youngest recipient of the highest award of the state of Tamil Nadu (the home of Bharatnatyam) - the "Kalaimamani" Nadanamamani from Karthik Fine Arts Yuvakala Bharati Dr.MGR Award from the Music Academy Balasaraswati Memorial Award Rotary Youth Merit Award Best Child Talent in the International Year of the Child In the last few years, Srinidhi has emerged as a successful choreographer and has presented various themes such as "Prabodhana", "Charitam", "Madhuram" and "Pudumai Penn". But there's more to Srinidhi than just dancing. She's a medical graduate specialising in Public Health and belongs to a new breed of young professionals who are deeply committed to the art they practice and the profession they have chosen, striving to achieve excellence in both. |
