Brought up in the tribal village of Manandavadi in the mountain district of Wayanad in northern Kerala. 1st class in M.A Philosophy. Self-taught in art. Imbibed the primitive tradition from Paleolithic sights like Edakkal caves in Wayanad. Working and experimenting in different mediums for the last 25 years. Inspired by the rock engravings of primitive caves, has developed a very personal style and technique of embossing imaginary and vision on recycling used out papers like used envelopes while keeping along adoptable colours, graphics etc. with the work. Attempts to achive a very personal way of expression rooted in the tribal tradition and spirituality
